I received a B.A. in psychology and a B.A. in sociology from Michigan State University. I earned my M.A. and Psy.D. from Illinois School of Professional Psychology where I graduated with honors. My internship was at Forest Hospital in Des Plaines, IL, a free-standing progressive psychiatric hospital where I received training in Marriage and Family Therapy. My post-doctoral training included intensive outpatient work with the eating disorders population.
I am also a certified T.E.A.M. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by The Feeling Good Institute founded by Dr David Burns, author of several book, notably the book “Feeling Good”
